RiseWell Community Services is looking for a full-time Accounting Associate to work in conjunction with the Finance department and Residential programs to insure proper payment and classification of leases.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of Residential leases and Rent.
- Proficient computer skills of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity preferred with: Concur, Fund-EZ, DocuWare, and Abila MIP
- Understanding and experience with document management as it pertains to electronic document storage as well as standard filing of accounting records
CORE & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
- Maintain the residential leases (in DocuWare and Excel spreadsheets) and rents (in Concur) for client residential apartments
- Receive new and renewal leases from landlords and/or program manager or facilities management; submit a list to the residential director and facilities management specialist for renewal approval for signature. Give to CFO for signature
- After CFO signature, scan into Lease Database (DocuWare). Update lease information; lease dates and rent amounts. Update program spreadsheet. Update Concur with new rent amount and other information if necessary. Send leases to landlords with a letter to countersign lease and send back to RiseWell to file.
- Prepare and submit check requests for rent increases/differences and security deposit increases (if necessary).
- Review and approve monthly rent in Concur and DocuWare
- Review, prepare and submit certain residential apartment utility bills for payment. For example, Fairfield Properties, Eagle Rock Management, etc.
- Provide landlord customer service via email or phone for fiscal inquires.
- Review balance ledgers from landlord to determine if there is a balance on the apartment account.
- Enter Bank loan entries from Mortgage statements.
- Update the Security Deposit
- Prepare program vouchers for advance payments.
- . Utilize all agency based IT applications pertaining to this job description in a proficient manner.
SALARY: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 Annually, BOE
