RiseWell Community Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Peer Specialist to join our team. Peer Specialist, will provide support and guidance to individuals with mental health and addiction challenges. The role involves using your own lived experience to inspire hope, promote recovery, and assist individuals in achieving their goals.

REPORTS TO: Team Leader
DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services – ACT
HOURS: 35 hours per week
PAY: $35k Annually
QUALIFICATIONS:
Lived experience relevant to client population A valid and clean NY State driver license. Minimum 1 years of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
JOB FUNCTION:
Supervise and provide direct services with a focus on recovery on a mobile, multi-disciplinary treatment team for persons with severe and persistent mental illness.
