RiseWell Community Services is looking for a Registered Nurse for our Clinical Department, working in RiseWell’s new branch of Substance Use Services in the Methadone clinic. Our Methadone clinic is a crucial addition to the county in treating and helping individuals struggling with opioid addiction manage withdrawal symptoms and allow them to focus on recovery.
In this position, you will provide management and administration of medications, in conjunction with the Psychiatrist, and/or other medical staff as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team for persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Ensure medical standards as per program regulations are being provided

QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department. A valid and clean NY State driver license. Minimum 1 year of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting preferred. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from OASAS.
CORE & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
A. Responsible for medication management, education and administration.
B. Responsible to attend assigned meetings.
C. Responsible to conduct all assigned/scheduled appointments/visits.
D. Responsible to oversee the accurate completion of all documentation.
E. Maintain compliance with incident reporting guidelines.
F. Responsible to comply with agency Compliance Plan and False Claims Policy by preventing, detecting and reporting any potential healthcare abuse and fraud. Report any potential non-compliance and comply with all other federal, state and local regulations applicable to this job description.
G. Responsible for proficiency in all agency based IT applications.
H. Provide education to clients and staff regarding standards of medical care.
I. Responsible to perform all other job duties as assigned.
