Jaitaysia Williams

Jaitaysia Williams joined RiseWell Community Services in February 2024, as the Division Director of The Barbara Faron Mixed-Use Affordable Housing Development. In her current position, Jaitaysia's responsibilities include overseeing and developing streamlined services that are in alignment with the diverse needs for the population served at The Barbara Faron Residence. She is also responsible for ensuring contractual obligations are achieved in accordance with DOHMH standards. In working with the supportive housing tenants, the other major aspect is ensuring that tenants feel supported, feel safe, and receive comprehensive case management tailored to their needs.

Jaitaysia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from CUNY Lehman College, and received Masters of Public Administration degree from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Jaitaysia has over 10 years of extensive experience in homeless prevention, securing affordable and safe housing for adult families/ families with children living in the shelter system, understanding various types of housing subsidies and its criteria, and has managed to successfully build professional rapport with funding sources such as NYC's Human Resource Administration, and NYC's Department of Homeless Services.
